Sept. 26, 2006 ABA president, Prince Sobem Nwoko hosts Fundraising dinner to support Clap for Jesus' efforts to build new Vocational school in GhanaFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, Atlanta, Sept. 26, 2006 Prince Sobem Nwoko, President of the African Business Alliance, Inc. hosted a fundraising dinner in support of Clap for Jesus, Inc., a non-profit organization formed to build a vocation high school in the western region of Ghana. At an estimated cost of $1.2 ml, the new school (St. Joseph's Senior Secondary School) will be built in Bibiani which is in the Wiawso catholic diocese of Ghana. It is a major undertaking representing milestones Ghanaian architecture and the amenities it will offer. "The school will cost $1.2 ml to build and educate thousands of youths in the region and beyond. Its unprecedented for the area and a major economic shot in the arm." said Prince Sobem Nwoko, President of African Business Alliance. "We believe this project is consistent with our vision to raise standard of living in Africa. The infusion of capital into the region is significant for the local economy specifically and for the region as a whole. When the school opens in 2007, it will supply human capital to sustain labor needs of businesses in the region for long time." The African Business Alliance is a 501c3 non-profit organization of business, political and civic leaders in Johns Creek, GA helping to raise the standard of living for Africans on the continent by creating jobs and increasing production of goods and services.
