Firm Opens Phone Assembling Plant

A Chinese owned firm, A-Link technologies has opened a mobile phone
assembling plant in Rwanda with its eyes wide open for the East African
Community market.
In an exclusive interview with East African Business Week on October 24,
the chief technology officer of A-Link technologies' Mr. Frank Fang at his
offices in Kigali said recently.
The parent company, China link (C-Link) has branches in Dubai, Hong Kong
and Nairobi, Kenya.
"Our main factory was implemented in Rwanda in May and we specialize in
ICT products manufacturing, selling and after sales service, there is also
an ICT repairing center", Mr. Fang said.
